This reinforced silicone intake hose fits the 2 litre turbo on a variety of VAG cars, including the new MK8 Golf GTI – suitable for both the LHD and RHD variants with the engine code DNP.Â Due to its location it really improves the looks of the engine compartment and removes any restriction of the OEM plastic hard pipe.Â

Also available for the Mk8 GTI is our blow off and recirculation valves.Â These valves areÂ a full replacement atmospheric blow off (i.e. noisy) or recirculation (i.e. quiet) valveÂ that integrateÂ seamlessly with the OEM electronics and results in no detriment in performance, and absolutely NO fault codes or check engine lights, which isnâ€™t something that can be said of our competition!Â The later revision OEM valves have a longer life but ultimately the plastic brittles and in extreme circumstances, parts of the plastic can break off. Our valve uses full billet alloy construction with a piston based internal design that provides for significantly improved reliability over the OEM valves along with lightning-fast response. One of the easiest upgradesÂ you can make to your Mk8 GTI is the utilisation of the Forge panel filter. The filter isÂ made using a high-quality, high-flow, synthetic nanofiber filtration media which is then pleated to maximise the effective surface area which in turn increases air flow. This was tested up against many other medias to where we found the synthetic nanofiber filtration media outperformed all others.Â
Forge have alsoÂ developed this turbo outletÂ muffler delete pipe for theÂ 2.0 petrol turbo (TSI) (EA888 GEN4 engine).Â It has been designed with 3 points of contact to eliminate any possibility of resonation. This part will improve the sound of your turbo spooling and improve throttle response due to its sleek single billet design that eliminates the restriction and turbulence caused by the OEM part.
With the success of turbo inlet adaptors for a number of platforms and engine configurations we took the opportunity to further our product range for theÂ VW MK8 GTI.Â We looked to see if we could improve on the air flow to the turbo charger. On investigation we could see that the OEM turbo adaptor was restrictive and was an area in need for improvement. Therefore, our highly skilled development team got to work designing a solution to maximize the capacity by utilizing our CAD system and physical prototypes.
